Cummins ISB6.7 engines are produced on Kammins Kama joint venture from August 2010 and now their localization level exceeded 60%. However, no matter how good is the engine of the ISB6.7 series, the KAMAZ in the model line has more models with greater lifting capacity, rather than a model of dump truck 65115. The production of the family of these motors with a working volume of 8.9 liters was mastered at the same plant Kammins Kama, which produces a 6.7-liter ISB6.7 family.

This engine (model 740.735-400) has changed the power diagram of the cylinder block in order to give rise to greater hardness, increased by 5 mm radius of crank and new reinforced bolts of fixing the covers of the indigenous bearings (larger diameter) are applied. To meet the requirements of the fifth environmental class, the engine is equipped with an electronically controlled COMMON Rail power system. One of the main components of the adaptation of these motors to Chelning trucks is a decrease in mass and dimensions.
