The South Korean automaker KIA registered a new logo, which in the near future may appear on the new electrical models of the brand.
Volkswagen was not the only major world manufacturer who will change its corporate logo. In all likelihood, in the near future, the new emblem will appear on the Kia brand cars. On November 26, several applications for a new trademark, demonstrating a significant development of the company over the past decade, are registered in the South Korea Patent Office for the South Korea (Kipris). The fields for the date of registration and publication of the application are still empty, and this means that Kia has not yet received the approval of the Korean authorities.
The new emblem is the connected letters of red or black. A similar logo was decorated with an electric concept of an electric vehicle Kia Imagine, which the company showed in March of this year at the Geneva Motor Show. The only difference is that the logo on the body of the show-driver, which demonstrated the design of future models of the brand, was white.
According to preliminary information, the new logo will receive electrical and hybrid models KIA. The company already sells some of its own models under individual logos. For example, Liftbek Stinger for the South Korean market decorates the emblem «E», and a separate unique logo was created for the flagship SUV of the Mohave of the New Generation.
